Before you ask
Why do I have to pay for a consultation?
Because a real consultation takes real time, and the $50 comes straight back to you as credit on any Youthphoria product. So it costs you nothing in the end. What it does do is make sure the people we sit down with are people we can genuinely help, which means everyone gets proper attention instead of a rushed answer. What is the difference between the online and in person consultation?
Both are $50 and both are redeemable. Online happens by email, based on your form answers and the lash photo you text us, and you get written recommendations you can keep. In person is 30 minutes at our Balwyn North salon: we look at your actual lashes and lid, physically try styles on you, and teach you to apply them on your own eyes. If you have bought lashes before and could not get them on, the in person one is what fixes that.
A friend sent me. Do I still need to buy the consultation?
Yes, and it works exactly the same way. Purchase the consultation, fill in the client form with your order number, then text your photo and email us your preferred times. Everyone goes through the same three steps, and everyone gets the $50 back as product credit.
Do I really have to fill in the form?
Yes. It is where we learn about your eye shape, your natural lashes, your allergies and your health, and it is where you sign off on our salon policies. Without it we cannot prepare for you, and for anything applied at the salon we cannot proceed at all. It takes about three minutes and you only ever fill it in once.
I want eyelash extensions, not at home lashes. Where do I go?
Right here. Buy the same $50 consultation, then choose the eyelash extensions option in the client form. It asks everything we need, including your health and allergy history and your consent. You can read about the salon and our extension work on our eyelash extensions page.
I have sensitive eyes, or I have reacted to lash glue before.
Say so in the form. Magnetic lashes need no adhesive at all, which is why they suit people who have reacted to lash extension glue, and our clear adhesive liner is a gentler option again. As a cosmetic chemist, Shirley will be straight with you about what each product does and does not contain. Please also read the risks, health and waiver section before booking.
I have lost lashes to chemotherapy or alopecia.
You are in the right place, and we waive the consultation fee for you. Email info@youthphoria.com.au before purchasing and we will sort it out. Magnetic lashes sit on the liner rather than on your natural lashes, so they work when there is little or nothing to attach to, including our clear band and invisible magnetic styles.
What photo should I send?
A close up of your eyes in good light, one with them open and one closed, with no makeup. Text them to 0403 124 176 with your name. It tells us more than any description, and for the online consultation it is what makes the recommendations accurate.
